Announcement of 20 Final Entries

The preliminary evaluation of ¡°Flying into the Future----Space Exploration Innovation Contest 2006-2007 in Asia¡±was completed. After one month¡¯ evaluation, 20 ones from 54 works were selected as the final entries.

Total 54 works were delivered to the contest office. China collected 89 works and delivered 44 works, Japan delivered 4 works, India delivered 4 works and Singapore delivered 2 works. These works were evaluated blindly according to 4 standards: novelty and originality, in-depth research and technical feasibility, anticipated economic and social benefits, and commercial value and investment appealing.

17 works from China, 2 works from Japan and 1 work from India were selected as the final entries to compete for the 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize and The Heinlein Prize for Creative Innovation.

The evaluation committee is comprised of 12 space experts from China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, India, Israel, China Taiwan and China Hongkong.
